Where do your members come from?

There are no open sign-ups. Our members are either actively sought out or referred into the network.We have members from around the world, but the majority are based in North America, Europe and Australia.

What are their typical rates?

Our members are mostly mid- to senior-level, where rates broadly align with role types, experience and regional norms.If you're working to a specific rate, shortlisted options can be tailored to your budget.

What if no one's available?

We onboard new members to the network dynamically in response to demand.If the right options aren't already available, we'll prioritise new joiners based on your needs.The earlier visibility you can provide, the more likely we can meet your timelines.

How do you operate without charging fees?

There are no fees for companies using the network. The rate you agree with our members is the only amount you'll pay, so you remain in full control of your costs.We operate on a revenue share basis with our members, earning a percentage of income from engagements originating through the network.

Can they join us permanently?

Some members are open to a contract-to-perm arrangement, which can be discussed directly with them.If they move into a permanent role, there's no transfer fee for you, but our revenue share with them may continue for a period.

Rushmere is an invite-only, global network of independent creatives and technologists that helps its members find new clients.We source and develop opportunities with teams hiring freelancers and contractors, then share them with the members we think are the strongest fit.Once you've been introduced to a client, we get out of the way. You're then free to pursue the opportunity and own the relationship directly.There’s nothing to pay to join or receive opportunities. Rushmere is 100% success-based, so we only earn when you do.

Membership

We grow the network around the demand we see in the market. We prioritise existing members, but when we need someone new, we invite people who are a great fit for the opportunity and the network more broadly.If you’re invited to join, we’ll send you a personal activation link where you can learn more, accept our Terms of Membership and tell us about your availability and preferences.Once you’re in, there’s no job board or feed to keep checking. We’ll contact you directly when we think there’s something suitable, and to check you’re interested and available. How often you hear from us depends entirely on the opportunities we’re seeing and how closely they match your profile. So just keep doing your thing and let us know if anything changes.

Revenue Share

Rushmere isn’t a recruitment agency. We don't have contracts with clients to help them fill roles. We work with our members to help them find new clients. This gives you ownership over your client relationships while letting clients keep better control of their budgets.There’s no fee to join or receive opportunities. If an introduction from the network leads to paid work, we earn a share of the income from that engagement.You contract with clients directly, agree your own rates and manage your own payments. We receive our share from you only after you’ve been paid.We’ll explain the full arrangement before you join, so you’ll understand how it works and what’s expected of you.

Who is the network for?

Most of the opportunities we see come from agencies, consultancies, consumer brands, startups and technology companies across North America, Europe and Australia.That means our network is primarily made up of experienced, mid-to-senior freelancers and contractors in those markets, including content creators, designers, marketers, strategists, producers, engineers and other specialists.We grow the network around the demand we see, so the mix of people, skills and locations we work with continues to evolve with the market.

Can I still find my own work?

Absolutely. Rushmere is non-exclusive and is simply another source of opportunities to support your pipeline.You’re free to continue sourcing your own work however you like, and there’s no obligation to pursue any opportunity we send you.Our revenue share only applies to work that originates through the network.

How do introductions get made?

We match opportunities to our members based on their experience, skills, preferences and availability.If we think there’s a good fit, we’ll get in touch to check you’re interested and available, and may ask for your help positioning you before we share your profile with the client.If the client is interested, we’ll let you know and either make an introduction or they may contact you directly.Either way, you’re always free to decide whether you want to take the conversation forward.

What's expected of me as a member?

Not much. There's no platform or profile to manage. Just keep us up to date on your availability and the kinds of work you’re interested in, and tell us how any opportunities we introduce are progressing.If an introduction turns into paid work, you'll need to inform us and keep us updated throughout the engagement so we can manage the revenue share between us.The full details of your responsibilities are covered in our Terms of Membership before you join.
